Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

Found your service thru Google. Liked the good credentials...BBB approved, Angie's List, and really liked the same day repair guarantee! Scott called ahead to give me a more precise advance warning of his estimated arrival...much appreciated. He was friendly and besides doing a nice, quick repair he gave me alot of information (without being pushy) about his recommendation for a new door considering how old our system was...(very heavy door on a spring system). I called Precision because they worked on Saturday and did not charge "extra" for a weekend service call. A company I am familiar with was not open and to come out would have been considered an "emergency" service call. Greg, one of the technicians came out and replaced a broken spring (replaced other spring as well). For being late afternoon on a Saturday, Greg was chipper, courteous and had no problems answering questions. I even allowed him to "up sale" me on some vinyl (I believe they were vinyl) rollers to replace my old worn out steel ones. Great advice on his part! Being that I have an aluminum door, it's noisy (Whisper Drive helps quiet it some) when opening and closing it. Replacing the rollers with vinyl ones helped quiet the door a little more. All in all, I would not hesitate to call Precision again.

Your service technician arrived on time and as estimated. He called me when he was 10-minutes away and that helped me manage the work I was doing. Greg assessed the disabled door, came to a conclusion of what was necessary to remedy and provided me with an accurate estimate of what the repair would cost. He completed the repair post-haste, and also provided me with some general maintenance tips that would help me extend the life of the products I purchased. I appreciated his professionalism, knowledge and technical expertise. I was also comforted int he fact that he did not attempt to pressure me into purchasing anything that I did not need and that goes a long way with me. I will definately use your services again in the future as your firm has established a trustworthy sentiment with me and my family. I felt (after the service I received), that I would be comfortable having your firm assist my wife without me being there, in the event an emergency were to arise along the core competencies that your firm services. GARAGE DOOR REPAIR: Serviceman was on time. I thought the cables were broken but it was the spring that had broken. He replaced the spring, also confirmed replacement of old cables with new ones since I was informed the old were a bit rusted. I was given a Free of Charge surge protector with purchase. He also lubricated all hinges and tracks along with information about regular upkeep of my garage door. Excellent service all around! He finished up with selling my friend a new garage door opener which he sorely needed for quite a while. My friend informed me it works fine! My friend may even purchase a keyless opener in the future from the company. I am very pleased with the 45 minute service call. (parts guaranteed for 5 years)

I was so impressed with the whole company especially Greg, my mechanic. He was on time polite and was fast. My garage door opener was replaced within an hour and Greg took the time to go over every part of the door and he also was kind enough to teach me how everything worked. It has been a month since I've had the door replaced and everything is working great and there have been no problems. Greg is a star employee and if he is your serviceman for your garage door than you are very lucky. He is such a wonderful rep. For the company. I would def pass their card out to anyone who needs garage work done. This is def the company to go with.

I recently had to purchase a new garage door and remembered that my neighbor used Precision Door before. So I called right away, was able to have Bill come out the next day to check things and he gave me different options that I could do. He was very courteous & knowledgeable. So we set up the date for the new door to be installed. I was impressed with the e-mail I received right after the 1st appointment, showing me the pictures and some info about each of the technicians that worked for Precision. Bill and another tech(sorry don't remember his name) came out on 1/31 to install the door and were very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that asked and I will use them again if need be. Thanks for your help.

Precision is GREAT! From the operator who answered the phone when I called, to the service technician, the experience for me and my family was completely effortless. The service technician, JP, was professional, caring, honest and friendly. The work was done perfectly, quickly and cleanly. When he left, it was like he was never there except that I had a garage door that worked again! I also thought it was great when he warned me of some potential loud noises from the work he would need to do because he noticed that my wife and me have two small children. JP was clearly an expert who cared about his customers. I'm glad he put the Precision sticker next to the garage door opener in my garage....I will definitely call them if anything else comes up. Further, I would recommend Precision to anyone!

Dan is a great technician. As promised, Dan called 30 minutes prior to his arrival. He was extremely courteous and professional. He quickly assessed the problem and provided two options. We agreed on a solution and the amount of time it would take to complete, 30 minutes. Dan then completed the project in that amount of time. He also inspected the springs and other components of the garage door. He explained how I need to lubricate the springs every 3 months, which would make them last longer. I am extremely pleased with his service.

The service men were very respectful and professional. I appreciated the email that gave me the likely technician that would be arriving with the photos and that I could link to the web page to review him. Your coupons from FaceBook were a bit confusing. The tech was helpful with the coupons. The coupons were not worded clearly. The men were clean and I appreciate that they had on uniforms. They didn't complain about the cold weather or that it was late for them to be working. They finished quickly. I hope all is fixed for now, my doors/openers are old. They did recommend additional services and did state that if they did the additional repair at that time there would not be an additional service call fee. I chose not to have the additional work done, at my own risk. But, I'm glad they told me of the part that is wearing out. I did wonder if they are just supposed to find SOMETHING else to recommend to the customer as a potential add-on to all their jobs.
